Louis van Gaal has confirmed he would like Cristiano Ronaldo back with Manchester United.
Ronaldo turns 31 in February and struggled in Saturday's Clasico, lost 4-0 by Real Madrid to Barcelona.
Van Gaal, quoted by several Sunday newspapers, said of possible future transfer activity: "Ronaldo plays on the wings and he is fast and scores goals. There is no trainer in the world that doesn't like him.
"Of course we are looking -- but are looking at all players, not just Ronaldo. But these players are mostly ungettable.
"With Ronaldo, let's wait and hope."
