Lionel Messi scored his 400th goal with Barcelona in just his 471st competitive match with the club.

Messi scored in the final seconds of Barcelona's win over Valencia.

"400 goals for FC Barcelona, and I hope to score many more!" wrote Messi on his official Facebook page. 

"However the most important part is that we got 3 points from a really tough game."
