Throughout the tenure of Pedro at Barcelona, he has been an alternative option behind some of the world's best players.

Pedro is the third highest scorer on Barça this season, but Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suárez see regular action.

“It’s always difficult," said Pedro. "Every year it’s difficult to get games, as here you’re competing with the best in the world, so being 100% happy is difficult because I’d always like to play. I’m comfortable here though, with the players too, but all of us who get minutes have to work very hard to earn them.”

Pedro is uncertain where his future will be.

“I don’t know. I’m content here but you never know what might happen tomorrow. I have my mind fixed at this club until the end of the season. Then we’ll see what happens, when the season finishes we’ve evaluate things.”

Pedro was asked if he may consider a change of position.

“I’ve never played as a full-back, although yes, I have done so with Del Bosque in practically all the training sessions [with Spain], but if the manager here decided to convert me to that role, then I’d be delighted. Anything that gets me games, I’ll go ahead with, but in principal it’s not my natural position. I’m a striker, which is where I perform more.”
