Everton is moving closer to takeover talks with American investors John Jay Moores and Charles Noell.
Moores formerly owned the San Diego Padres.
Moores and Noell are looking to secure a deal for £200 million in the next few weeks.
Everton plans to move to a new £300 million stadium within the next few years.
