Patrice Evra played for many seasons in the Premier League with Manchester United and has noticed differences since joining Juventus in Serie A.
Juve defeated Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday.
"The Italian teams are better prepared tactically and that makes the difference in the Champions League," Evra told L'Equipe.
"City is perhaps the best English team but the Champions League, it is something else.
"The Premier League is the most interesting championship to watch, but is tactically limited."
