Marco Reus will miss at least two weeks with a fresh ankle injury picked up in Borussia Dortmund's 1-0 win over Gladbach on Saturday.
Reus is set to miss Germany’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Gibraltar this week as well as their friendly against Spain on 18 November.
Reus has been one of the world's best wingers when healthy this season.
Reus missed the World Cup with an injury to his left ankle.
