Manchester City at Arsenal (Saturday, 7:45 AM EST): City visits the Emirates in the first match since Danny Welbeck joined Arsenal on a transfer from Manchester United. How Arsène Wenger incorporates Welbeck in the middle with Alexis Sánchez out wide will be fascinating. These two clubs played in the Community Shield last month, which Arsenal easily won but City hardly put up a challenge in that glorified exhibition.

Atlético Madrid at Real Madrid (Saturday, 2:00 PM EST): The Madrid Derby is beginning to rival El Clásico in terms of a must-watch match given the run over the past few years. Real Madrid of course won the Champions League last May followed by Atleti winning the Spanish Supercup in August. These two sides legitimately don't like each other and are each still incorporating significant changes to their roster since that match in Lisbon.

Athletic Club at Barcelona (Saturday, 10:00 AM EST): Barça will wear their Catalan colors at home for the first time since the club was founded to mark the National Day of Catalonia in what will also be the first match of the season that features both Lionel Messi and Neymar. Athletic finished fourth in La Liga last season and qualified for the Champions League and will also be wearing their own 'nationalist' kit.
