Bayern Munich is interested in Raheem Sterling, according to a report from Blid.

With Brendan Rodgers' future at Liverpool in the balance and a reported £70,000-per-week deal on the table, Sterling has yet to sign on the dotted line. His coach, however, says that day is not far away.

"The club, I'm sure, will work very hard, and Raheem's happy here," he said. "He loves being a Liverpool player. So I'm sure, between the club and the representatives, we can get a deal done that sees him go on and develop what is an exciting career."

Sterling figures to be Bayern's contingency plan if they are unable to acquire Marco Reus.
