Atlético Madrid has agreed to buy Antoine Griezmann from Real Sociedad for £24 million.

Tottenham also strongly pursued Griezmann.

“Atlético Madrid and Real Sociedad have reached an agreement for the transfer of Antoine Griezmann," said Atleti in a statement.

“The young French footballer will sign a contract with our teams once he passes his medical.”

Griezmann was impressive in the World Cup for France and is a versatile attacking player.
