Shinji Okazaki will leave Malaga after the club could not afford to register the striker.
Okazaki was unveiled in July.
The Japanese striker is now linked with a move to Huesca.
Manchester United scouted Isco several times when he was still at Malaga before his move to Real Madrid.
"He's good, but not quite quick enough and his head is too big for his body," wrote the scout reporting back to Alex Ferguson.
Isco was named man of the match in Real Madrid's 2-1 European Super Cup win over United on Tuesday.
"The midfield players of Real Madrid there are only one, there are no replicas," said Jose Mourinho.
"No replicas of Modric, Toni Kroos, Isco, no replicas of Casemiro, so they are really solid and the way they move the ball makes it difficult."
Martin Demichelis has signed a six-month contract to return to Malaga after being released by Espanyol.
Demichelis joined Espanyol in the summer after leaving Manchester City but his one-year contract was terminated halfway through after making only one appearance.
Capped 51 times by Argentina, Demichelis was a runner-up at the 2014 World Cup and the 2015 Copa America.
Javi Gracia has left Malaga to become manager of FC Rubin Kazan of Russia.
Gracia joined Malaga as manager in 2014.
Gracia has been considered one of the best managers in La Liga.
Manuel Pellegrini had a significant influence upon Spanish soccer during his time at Villarreal, Real Madrid and Malaga, which influenced La Liga and Spain's national team.
“I changed the way they played in Spain, using loose midfielders instead of players in fixed positions. That was acquired by the Spain team,” Pellegrini said.
“In La Liga, before I went to Villarreal, they used forwards as wingers but I produced more mobile midfielders with space.
“What I did at Villarreal was bigger than winning trophies. There I achieved what no one had ever done, and no one ever will.
“And I accomplished something no one had ever done at Malaga either. Then I went to Madrid and we had the best season in the club’s history to that point, but didn’t win trophies.
“I did things that no one did before. Is that a coincidence?”
Diego Simeone's favorite player in La Liga not on Atlético Madrid is reportedly Samuel Castillejo of Malaga.
“I’m not the new pearl of Malaga, I’m a worker,” said Castillejo.
The most recent "pearl" of Malaga was Isco, who has become one of the world's best young players at Real Madrid.
Isco too, is a fan of Castillejo. “It’s the Samuel Castillejo show,” he tweeted during one of many standout performances from the 20-year-old this season.
Castillejo can play positions on either flank, play through the middle or in attack.
“People were speaking of this kid as more of an economic topic (due to the large contract at 16), rather than that of him on the field," said Manel Casanova, head of Malaga’s productive youth academy. "Now, with his role in the first team, no one speaks about money anymore.”
Castillejo has a wiry frame that has led to Angel di Maria comparisons.
Samu Castillejo is already attracting the attention of Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid after his impressive run of performances for Málaga.
Since making his La Liga debut as a substitute against Valencia at the start of the season, Castillejo’s workload has been significantly increased by manager Javi Gracia. The 19-year-old has now become one of the club’s most important attacking players over the course of half a season.
Castillejo’s buyout clause is €20 million, although Diego Simeone’s team are yet to field a concrete offer for the pacy attacker.
Atlético Madrid has acquired Jesus Gamez from Malaga on a three-year deal.
The 29-year-old will compete with Juanfran for the right-back spot following the departure of Javier Manquillo to Liverpool.
Gamez came through the youth ranks at Malaga before breaking into the first team in 2005.
Guillermo Ochoa has signed with Malaga of La Liga.
Ochoa's contract at Ajaccio expired at the end of last season, and with the French club relegated to Ligue 2, he was eager to find a new club after an outstanding World Cup for Mexico.
Mexico's only first-team goalkeeper playing in Europe, Ochoa led the French top flight in saves each of the past three seasons.
